After vacationing in Mazatlan,Sinaloa, Mexico for only a few years, we quickly realized the huge investment opportunity here and we wanted to spend more time here vacationing and one day to eventually semi-retire in this beautiful port city along the fabulous west side of the Pacific Ocean. The moment we meet RAFAEL SOSA at the REMAX office in Mazatlan, we felt completely comfortable with him and knew we made the right selection of a real estate professional! RAFAEL introduced us to properties that would suit our budget and lifestyle in Mazatlan. RAFAEL is an excellent real estate professional who cares about his clients and maintains very good communication abilities. When we are in Canada, RAFAEL continues to keep us informed of current events and real estate opportunties. We have referred him to our friends and family on many occasions. We have been vacationing in many places around the world such as: Mexico, Caribbean, Europe, United States, Hawaii and Asia. The last thing we thought of was purchasing a residence in Mazatlan as we had never visited there before. Since we own resort properties in Alberta, B.C we decided to seek out a Vacation Property outside of Canada in April /08. Cancun and Puerto Vallarta were getting very expensive, so we thought about purchasing in Mazatlan. Our parents own a timeshare in Mazatlan, so we decided to look and see what was available. We made some inquires online and contacted the Sunset Eagle Remax office; Jenny was extremely helpful and supportive. At this preliminary stage, we assumed we were to be working with Jenny. Finally in April we visited Mazatlan and met the real estate team, as well as Rafa for the first time. When we finally met Rafa, there was a bit of shyness between us, but very soon the wall came down and we were friends. After a week of viewing many properties, we decided on a home in a gated community and were very happy. One thing we both felt was that Rafa was very honest, as a matter of fact so honest that he treated us like his family, even if it meant foregoing some commission.. That in itself said allot to us. He also made the process very easy and helped beyond what a normal Real Estate agent from here would do. True professionalism, informative, reasonable level of expectations to the process and he delivered what he said. We have been to Mazatlan every month since as we have other interests there and still see Rafa every time. Consistently making time to visit and answer any questions we may have about future opportunities we might consider. He has become a good friend and we have and will continue to recommend Rafael to all of our friends, family, business associates and acquaintances. Thanks for the email about Mazatlan making front page news. We always knew it was a wonderful place to be.We are coming down on Nov. 22 for a couple of months then going home for a couple of weeks for business, then back to Mazatlan for another couple of months. We will look you up and go for lunch sometime.
